Happy with this upgrade. Pricey but well worth it.
Several years ago, I purchased the 10.9-inch Apple iPad, and like its predecessors, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. As someone who has worked with a variety of laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, and Macs over the past two decades, I have found this device to be an excellent choice for personal use. I opted for what I consider the most comfortable and adaptable option, albeit one of the more expensive models. Given my limited use of the iPhone, I conduct approximately 95% of my internet browsing, social media interactions, emails, and research on my new 11-inch Apple A16 iPad from 2025. The size difference between the two models is negligible, yet I have enhanced my experience by pairing the iPad with an affordable keyboard that transforms it into a more efficient typing device, as I find the on-screen keyboard quite unsatisfactory. As a baby boomer at 63 years old, I appreciate the convenience of being able to use the iPad to make phone calls and send texts to my contacts, allowing for seamless communication. Additionally, I can easily stay in touch with my grandchildren who live out of state. I have consolidated my four email accounts—Yahoo, Gmail, iCloud, and AOL—into a single app, streamlining my communication. I can also set up various applications, including online college courses, without any issues. Although this purchase was a significant expense after just a few years—approximately four, if I recall correctly—the daily usage justifies the investment. The snap-in keyboard is adjustable to various angles, remains stable, and adds minimal weight to the iPad. Its dual function as a cover provides excellent protection against drops from considerable heights, which I find to be a significant advantage. The color of the iPad and the keyboard/cover complement each other beautifully; the blue hue of the iPad is particularly aesthetically pleasing, especially for those who favor that color. I appreciate the upgrades and was pleased to find that transferring data from my old iPad to the new one took less than ten minutes. After organizing some personal settings—such as disabling Siri, which I do not prefer—updating apps, and making cosmetic adjustments like resizing icons on the home screen and cleaning up photos, I felt satisfied with my decision to upgrade. I chose to make this transition during a period of downtime in my life, and while the process was neither challenging nor time-consuming, I am eager to explore new features. As I navigate my chemotherapy treatment, I find myself with ample time to utilize this device effectively. While the physical size difference is minimal, the improved typing speed, increased storage capacity, and overall experience have made me grateful for this upgrade. I highly recommend this Apple iPad and the specific model I have selected to meet my needs.***the color of his iPad is a pearlized cornflower or sky blue. It is quite beautiful and my phones camera did not do it justice i these photo’s. The color they show you on the webpage is much closer to the real color but until you see it in person, you can’t even imagine how lovely it is.

So good that I had to return it!!
I returned it. I would make a video but can’t. So I got this iPad because I have an iPhone X in 2026 and I wanted to wait to get a new iPhone in the fall. I was planning on using this iPad till then. My iPhone is literally falling apart. I had one experience with an iPad with the iPad 4 and that didn’t work out because of the size. It was too big! So I gave it to my dad. I thought the same would happen this time so I spent the $324 on this iPad. I loved it!! I loved it too much that I had to return it because now I want the iPad PRO!!! I figure why not get the best of the best version with a better processor etc. I was gonna keep it but I can’t afford to say goodbye to $324. I rather put it into the iPad Pro price. I will probably wait a bit longer to get it or just wait for the new iPhone in the fall. My dad didn’t seem all that into this iPad because of the new features etc. he is still using the iPad 4 lol. So that’s another reason why I returned this iPad. I started using sora for videos. It’s addicting. Again the pro would probably be best for that. This iPad is more for the first time user. Who browses the internet, pay bills online. Watching tv etc. I want to eventually get into the AI stuff etc. I’m gonna need a pro model. I loved this screen I was starting to get a hang of typing like I do in the phone on this iPad. I wish they made an iPad mini PRO version. I should have gotten the mini instead because now I’m wondering how that one would have been. It’s a $100 more. I passed on it because of that. Overall it’s impossible to be able to type on this big screen. They should really just make these in the mini form. Even if you put the keyboard in landscape position it’s hard to type. Now that I think about it maybe I should just wait for the iPhone and forget the iPad Pro. But I also wanted to do away with the phone and just use an iPad all the time. I don’t text or call anyone. I use wifi most of the time. It would be nice to get rid of the payment for phone service. I don’t know what to do. Maybe the iPad Pro model will be on sale. It’s $899 now. I will wait a few months. This cheap version would be good for elderly folks unless they have an older version they don’t want to let go of like my dad lol. I do miss the big screen now as I type this. Maybe I will get the iPad Pro soon. Lol.

Hoped more power from this price range
Solid device, but no Face ID, just Touch ID in the power button. It works fine, but it feels outdated at this price point. The USB-C port is also limited compared to higher models, which is frustrating if you’re trying to use external drives or accessories. Accessories are also expensive. If you want the Apple Pencil or a keyboard, you’re spending a lot more on top of an already pricey tablet. And by the time you add those, you’re getting close to the cost of a higher-end model anyway.

Affordable IPad
Great product, idk why I was expecting it to be faulty or something but it’s amazing. Great size, clear screen, brand new. The reason it gets 3 stars is because setting it up gave me some problems. During the process it glitched multiple times and at first I didn’t know what to do it would not let me finish the set up BUT after messing around with it I found plugging it in while its setting up worked so if you are getting this be sure just to hook it up to the charger when setting it up. And if it glitches on you press the up volume button then down volume button then the power button to reset it back to the hello screen. Hope you find this helpful I sure know I would’ve.
