I have revised my review: With a bit of experimenting I managed to get the camera working remotely. I had to manually set the network parameters and set the DNS address to Google's DNS servers IP. With this setup the indicator in the Android app goes green and remote access can be achieved.The seller was responsive to my emails requesting support.I could not get this camera to work remotely. My camera works perfectly when I am on the same WiFi but no access when on an external WiFi. Could not find any required firewall settings in the manual. Could not access the camera in a browser. Tried the link to a previous version of the app but that came up as corrupted when trying to install, so failed miserably. Very disappointed I have used many different makes of camera and have had no issues. I tried to contact support on the web site but nobody was answering. If technical support are listening and can offer any help, I can re-try?

Spent a night trying to understand why it wasn't working.At the and I figured out my WiFi password was too long and it couldn't work neither with the ethernet cable.When I cut the password to 11 chars I managed to see it working. Good resolution. Although the IR was turning on and off with no reason and the WiFi was keep dropping although the cam was sat on to of the rooter. But with the cable I saw it working.The IR in the dark room it's great. But the software let down the maccanichs and the hardware. The worst appended when I tried the zoom buttons. The cam started moving around without any control as it was scanning the room.So I packed up and returning the day after.

Easy to set up and crisp pictures whether on home Wi-fi or connecting on 3G whilst awayPlanning and tilting response lags a little, bit at the price point not an issue

I love this it's so easy to set up and now I can spy on my dogs all day while I'm at work haha. The picture is so clear and it's great how easy the camera moves round. The speaker is so clear too. Sets up onto wifi easily.

I found it very difficult to connect to phone or computer and had to return it as the able wasn`t long enough to reach where I wanted to place it

Did not meet expectation as backup service is poor & does not send alerts to mobile
